Information We Collect About Visitors to the Malabar Farm Parent Website at www.malabarfarm.org
When visitors enter our website, our web server recognizes the domain name of their ISP (Internet Service Provider). We cannot
recognize individual users, but we do know if visitors are connecting to our website from popular ISPs like AOL, Earthlink, MSN, or if they are connecting from a private company network. On an aggregated basis, we track various
tallies of website traffic. For example, we track referring pages. This is where visitors come from before they reach the Malabar Farm website, such as selecting our website from a listing in a search engine. We also track the
number of visitors to our site every month. We keep track of which pages visitors see most often. We cannot, however, trace this information to individual visitors. We use the aggregate information we collect to improve the
content, navigation, and performance of our website. We do not share this information with third-parties.
Registration and Memberships.
We encourage all visitors at our web site to register with us. Registration
greatly increases are ability to communicate with you. There is no cost associated with membership, however, all registered members enjoy many benefits, including discounts on merchandise available from our online store as well as
our retail store (located in the Big House).

Online Games and Promotions.
Malabar Farm Foundation
develops various web-based programs designed for the enjoyment of our online members and guests. These are mostly quizes and other multiple-choice games designed to test your knowledge.
Online Polls and Questionnaires.
We also will generate topical polls, which are also designed for the enjoyment of our online members
and guests. When you participate in one of our Polls, we tally and report results on an aggregated basis. We cannot track the responses of individual participants. These are informal Polls offered for you to share your opinion with
others. Malabar Farm Foundation does not endorse Poll results, nor do we make claims of any statistical validity.
Changes in our Policy
We reserve the right to change our privacy policy without notice and suggest that
you check back periodically to review for possible changes. We are very conscious of privacy issues and do our best to respect our customers' wishes. As technology permits, we will continue to employ whatever programs and/or

MalabarFarm.com for Children
Purpose Statement
MalabarFarm.or includes a special area designed to help educate children and students about Malabar Farm, Louis Bromfield, Sustainable Farming, as well as a host of
related topics. The website is repleat with entertaining games and activities designed to make a child's experience as fun as it is informative.
The goal of our "Kids" area is provide content that is specifically
oriented to youth. To help us, we encourage Parents and Teachers to take an active role in the development and management of this area. To this end, we are soliciting volunteers to perform various administrative duties, including
the monitoring and maintenance of the "Kids" member forum, moderating online "live" chats, collecting and posting content (text, images, and multimedia), and coordinating special events.
Privacy at the "Kids" area of MalabarFarm.org
Malabar Farm Foundation is especially interested in protecting your child's online safety and privacy. That's why we encourage parents to participate in their
children's online activities to the fullest extent possible. We also protect children's privacy by screening all postings to our public community areas and removing any personally identifiable information your child my
inadvertently post at our web site.
We adhere to the The Children's Privacy and Protection Act
The Children's Privacy and Protection Act (COPPA), effective as of April 2000, was established by Congress to protect
children's online privacy. COPPA requires that children's Web site operators adhere to specific guidelines regarding the collection and handling of personally identifiable information about children. For more information about

COPPA Compliance by Malabar Farm Foundation
Malabar Farm Foundation has always protected the privacy of
children. We do not advertise to children, nor solicit children for any marketing information. We never knowingly release the names of subscribing children to third parties. This policy applies to both our offline and online
business practices.
In regard to COPPA, the Malabar Farm Foundation Web site does not collect any personally identifiable information from children. We do not knowingly provide any information about children to third
parties. We do, however, register our online subscribers to provide certain subscriber-only features at the Web site.
Registering Children at our Web Site.
To register subscribing children, we require parental
approval. For a child to register, he/or she must include a Parent email, to which our authorization is sent. Upon the Parent's approval, we will then register the child and recognize their screen name and password. For information

Malabar Farm uses children's E-mail addresses for very specific purposes. First, we will use the addresses to receive and
acknowledge the submission of letters, poems, stories, and artwork to our Web site. (All material we receive is moderated, or reviewed before public posting. We will never cite the source of any published submissions by E-mail
address.) Secondly, we will use children's E -mail addresses for personal editorial replies to inquiries we cannot answer in a public forum on the Web site.
Only Parents may add, modify and delete their child's child screen
names, passwords, or E-mail addresses. This is accomplished at the Parent Administration Area within the "Kids" area.
Online Games and Contests for Children.
To enhance a child's experience at our website,
we will regularly offer computer-generated games and other education-oriented activities. When used in connection with a contest, which may be sponsored by a school or teacher, it is necessary to capture participant information
including names, citys, ages, and email addresses. At the time of online registration, parents will have the opportunity to determine what information about their child will be used in connection with a game. Whatever elections
they make, they will be honored for all games.
As the MalabarFarm.com web site expands, we will continue to encourage children to create and submit their own content and participate in our unique community activities. In
